A representative from LPT Exclusive will pick you up at the airport and a private car will take you to your hotel.
You will be given a map of Luang Prabang and we will lend you a cellphone so that you can contact us at any time.
Early in the morning you will participate in the Tak Bat. This is a daily ceremony during which the people of Luang Prabang make offerings to the monks. After the Tak Bat, you will stroll on the streets around Vat May temple, where the picturesque morning market is held. Then, it will be time to go back to your hotel for breakfast.
The visit of the town will resume with the visit of the former royal palace, today a museum. Then you will admire the oldest temple in the town, Vat Xieng Thong, as well as the masterpieces of traditional and colonial architecture on the peninsula that was formed by the Mekong and the Nam Khan River.
Lunch on the terrace of a charming restaurant on the banks of the Nam Khan River.
The city tour will continue with the visit of villa Xieng Mouan as well as the Traditional Arts & Ethnic Center.
Finally, it will be time to admire the sunset from the top of Mount Phou Si.
After breakfast a private car will drive you, just under an hour, to Kuang Si. This is a magnificent waterfall ; you will able to swim in the natural pools in the forest.

Then you will be driven back to your hotel in Luang Prabang.
Free time in the afternoon.
Early morning departure to Nong Khiaw in a private minivan with your guide.
Along the way, you will visit the ethnical village of Ban Na Ngan (Lu ethnic group).
There, you can share a moment of the local life.
You'll stay in a simple, but charming lodge. The bungalows are in a pretty garden by the river.
After breakfast you will embark on a traditional private boat and cruise upstream Nam Ou River to Ban Sop Jam, a weavers village.
The karstic (limestone) and jungle sceneries are breathtaking.
Stop on the way back to Muang Ngoi for lunch and return in late afternoon to Nong Khiaw.
After an early breakfast a private car will drive you to Pak Ou where you will arrive at lunch time.
You will visit the "cave of the thousand Buddhas" located at the confluence of the Mekong and the Nam Ou river.
Then a transfer will take you directly to Luang Prabang Airport.
